By the release of Android Lollipop 5.1, it is supposed to change everything. It is recommended as a better android system than previous as compared to their features. Google has added some new and upgraded features in this version of android.

Google Android Lollipop 5.1 has hit the entire world since its introduction but the question arises Does Android 5.1 provide some new features? And does it make a difference from previous version of android? These are question that everyone wants an answer…
Here are some new features of Android 5.1…
- Quick Wi-Fi And Bluetooth Shortcut:
With the previous version of android, user have to go to settings to select Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection from the list but now it is easier than ever before because now a user can select Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections just from their drop down quick settings menu. It will provide a network list by just taping an arrow in a quick setting menu.
- Device Protection:
Google has also considered security options for their users. Android 5.1 also include a new lock features that will secure a device from a thief. It will automatically activated in mobiles when a user uses security methods like pin code etc. It make a device locked even after being factory reset until the user’s Google password is entered.
Although this feature will not allow user to recover his stolen device but it will also not allow a thief to use it.
- Dual Sim Support:
Previously Google Android version do not support dual sim option but now Android 5.1 allow users to use two sim at a time. This feature has been added to all android 5.1 devices.
- Customize Quick Settings:
Android 5.1 also allow user to drag down from the top of the screen to open drawer of quick settings so that a user can open Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection from their android mobile even when mobile is locked by PIN code. User can also open flash light without unlocking the phone. It allow user to quickly access to flash light, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth option.
- Smart Wi-Fi Connection:
Likewise previous version of Android, Android 5.1 also remembers those connection which are strong enough and automatically connect to those network. Furthermore Android 5.1 never connect to those network again which are week which means that if a device is connected to a poor Wi-Fi connection then android 5.1 remembers it and will never connect to it again.
